In the hit comedy movie, "Evan Almighty" by Tom Shadyac, Morgan Freeman playing God responded to the question, "How do you change the world?" by inscribing the acronymn ARK on the floor and saying "By showing one Act of Random Kindness at a time". You do not need Barak Obama's powers or Bill Gates wealth to change the world. Simple acts of kindness done consistently are contagious and can bring unprecedented change to the world around you and the one at large.
At Global Harvest Church in the next three months (May - July), we would be taking our faith to the streets. We hope to touch lives by simply showing acts of kindness.
You too can do something kind to one person everyday.
The back to back Friends Sundays on the 10 th and 17 th of May 2009 were largely successful. We have really nice times receiving the minstries of Reverends Femi Oduwole and Victor Adeyemi.
Friends Sunday is a monthly event at Global Harvest, usually the last Sunday of each month. On Friends Sundays we invite our friends and family to church to celebrate God and Friendship. We usually have exciting times in worship, with good music and seasoned Word. After service we hang around to interact and share some refreshments. Please, come along with your friends to the next Friends Sunday and you would certainly have a great time.
