REV. VICTOR ADEYEMI

Reverend Victor A. Adeyemi is the founder and Senior Pastor of Global Harvest Church (GHC) in Ibadan Nigeria, which serves several thousand members with branches spread over the city, Lagos Nigeria and the United Kingdom and worshippers thronging into these worship centres each week. With more than 25 years in ministry, Rev. Victor Adeyemi is committed to bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to people all over the world, literally treading the globe in search of souls.

While bagging a diploma in law, Rev Victor Adeyemi received the vision for Global Harvest Church in 1985. Sequel to a series of prayer meetings at a member’s home, he held the church's first worship service in the banquet hall of the Premier Hotel Ibadan, with about 200 people in attendance! Over the years the ministry grew rapidly and was relocated to the Walllan Hall of D’rovans Hotel, Ibadan.

Presently the congregation has moved from a hotel to a state of the art facility, the Alpha auditorium, built by faith, adding a weekly television broadcast, Harvest Fire Telecast and three services each Sunday. Over the years, branches have been established and assets worth several millions. The construction of the Alpha auditorium is a testament to the miracle-working power of God and is a model of excellence in ministry that ministries all over the world emulate.

A native of Odo-Ire in Kogi state Nigeria, Rev. Victor Adeyemi has a diploma in law. He has been offered several honorary doctorate degrees from several reputable institutions, which he turned down to keep a simple outlook. He is the author of several books, and hosts a quarterly ministers and ministry leaders meeting tagged Charismatic Alliance. His itinerant ministry is widely sought and resource materials widely circulated in the United States America, United Kingdom, Africa and Asia.

A much sought-after conference speaker Rev. victor Adeyemi is known for his practical approach to the Bible and has encouraged thousands to pursue a personal relationship with God. A prolific preacher and teacher, Rev. Victor Adeyemi and his wife Jumoke, have four children and live in Nigeria.
